$10,000 to the Kelly Strayhorn Theater to support the launch of the FutureMakers Creative Lab Series. FutureMakers is the next stage of Penn Avenue Creative, an experimental lab series for socially engaged artists and creatives from across fields to explore ideas and forge new work at the intersection of art, performance and social practice.

The mission of the Kelly Strayhorn Theater is to serve as a catalyst for creative expression and the active engagement of audiences. Focusing on performing & media arts of our time, KTS takes a diverse, multidisciplinary, inclusive and international approach to the presentation & understanding of performance arts. KST programs examine questions that define and inspire us as individuals and communities.
